About the treatment

​​Need to Know

Jet Plasma works by remodeling and repairing the skin from the inside out. Although you may see improvement after one treatment, the skin will continue to improve 8-12 weeks after completion as collagen regenerates.

The plasma technologies can be used almost anywhere on the face and body, including treatment of the scalp.

Treats under eye concerns unlike traditional treatments that offer lackluster results; eye brightening, tightening, reduction of crow’s feet, puffiness, and sagging skin, dark circles.

your provider will help determine how many sessions are needed for best results. With the original jet plasma, a series of either 3, 5, or 8 sessions is recommended. begin with 2-3 sessions in the first week and then 1-2 sessions a week thereafter. Sessions must be spaced at least 48 hours apart.

The new jet cold plasma and root cold plasma devices are stronger in voltage and yield faster results. Therefore, a series of either 4 or 6 sessions is recommended for each device. We recommend 1 session a week though treatments can be safely completed once every 72 hours.

Areas must be treated separately. The only areas that can be completed in the same series are the eyes, face and the neck/decolletage. Different areas can be treated on another day.

q: do the treatments hurt?
a: no, all of the devices offer pain free treatments.

q: are there any side effects?
a: there are no significant side effects involved with jet plasma. you may feel slightly warm in treated areas, experience slight redness, and the skin may feel somewhat tight. with the new devices, you may feel a sensation as if you had something done to your skin but there is no discomfort or pain.

q: what is the aftercare following a plasma treatment? do i need to do a facial if treating the face?
a: we highly suggest prepping the skin before the treatment and yes, getting a facial done before treating the face. This will ensure there is a clean and conditioned ‘canvas’ to work on which will improve your treatment results. you cannot touch the treated area, wet it, or add products to it for 12 hours after the treatment. we suggest following the provider’s instructions carefully so that you do not affect your results.

q: can I still do jet plasma if I’ve had fillers or Botox?
a: yes, but we recommend waiting 2-4 weeks post-injectables or post-retouches before starting jet plasma. completing a plasma series before or after Botox/filler will prolong the results of the injectables.

q: how can I pay for the sessions? do the prices vary per area?
a: we are adding more ways soon, Paypal or CC and we will add payment systems so you can afford treatment today and pay as you go.

EFFICACY

During plasma skin tightening, the heat that comes into contact with the skin causes collagen fibers to immediately contract. Low-energy plasma skin tightening (Jet Plasma), which has zero downtime, may require multiple treatments for more visible skin tightening. In contrast, high-energy treatments (Plasma Fibroblast) require fewer treatment sessions, but the downtime and side effects are amplified. HOW ARE JET PLASMA SERIES TREATMENTS SCHEDULED?

Your first three Jet Plasma treatments must be completed within 2 weeks. This is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED so you get the very best results. After those three treatments, your appointments can be scheduled one week apart however, the closer together you can have the treatments done, the better. Treatments can be scheduled 48 hours apart.

HOW LONG DO JET PLASMA RESULTS LAST?

Results from a Jet Plasma treatment ranges two to five years. Longevity of results is dependent on age, health, lifestyle choices, sun exposure, skincare routine etc… Like with most skincare treatments, a series is recommended for best results. For Jet Plasma, a series of 4-8 is ideal. Clients can see immediate improvement with just one treatment however, it’s important to understand that the skin will continue to improve as high levels of collagen regenerate over the next 6-8 weeks. Jet Plasma can be used anywhere on the face and body. Once the desired results are achieved, you can schedule a treatment as needed for maintenance.

ZERO DOWNTIME!

Jet Plasma is a completely pain-free treatment, which means no numbing is needed. During the treatment, you may feel slight warmth in some areas. There are no significant side effects following a Jet Plasma treatment. You may have some slight redness and your skin may feel somewhat tight however, no visual recovery time is required after this treatment.

 

CAN JET PLASMA BE PAIRED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?

Jet Plasma is non-invasive, meaning that clients can receive certain other skincare treatments in conjunction with Jet Plasma. Ask your esthetician about pairing Jet Plasma with another treatment to achieve your ideal aesthetic goals. If you get Botox or Filler, you MUST wait 2 weeks after the injection before receiving a Jet Plasma treatment.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOLLOWING A JET PLASMA TREATMENT?

Following your treatment, the channels created in the skin are open therefore it is important that No makeup can be worn after the treatment for 12 hours. It is also recommended that you do not exercise, enter a sauna or be exposed to steam for 12 hours post-treatment. Once a Jet Plasma treatment is performed, go home and binge-watch something on a streaming service.
